Can I collect my order outside opening hours?
Our medicine dispenser is located next to the green sliding door of the health centre / pharmacy. Refrigerated items and heavy items cannot be placed in the medicine dispenser. Any charges can be paid by debit card.
As soon as the pharmacy staff member places the medication in the medicine dispenser, you will receive a text message or email. This will inform you that your medication is in the medicine dispenser, whether there are any charges associated with it, and a withdrawal PIN (6 digits)
Within 24 hours of receiving the notification, you can collect your medication from the medicine dispenser using your collection card. After 24 hours on weekdays and 72 hours at the weekend, we will remove the medication from the medicine dispenser.
Please email or ring the pharmacy if you, or someone else, are unable to collect your repeat prescription during opening hours. We will then check whether your email address or mobile phone number is in our records. You can arrange a time to collect your medication from the medicine dispenser. We will place the medication in the dispensing machine at the agreed time. Please collect your medication within 24 hours of receiving the message.
If you authorise someone else, we will record this in the information system, so that person can collect your medicines or your medication list. Alternatively, you can give them your collection card.
