Speaking hours

The practice is open every working day from 8am to 5pm 

To make an appointment for the surgery or to request a home visit, call your GP's number Monday to Friday from 8.00-11.00 and from 13.30-16.30. Outside these hours, the practice is only available for emergencies due to other activities of the assistants. If you would like a same-day appointment or visit, please call as early as possible due to agenda planning.

You can also visit my MGN make an appointment. If you have a small question, you can also send an e-consult which will be answered within 72 hours.

The assistant will ask you about the reason for the appointment to assess the need and ensure you get enough consultation time. Per person, 10 minutes of consultation time per health question is scheduled. If you need more time or want to present several problems, consult with the assistant whether longer time can be scheduled. So discussing multiple problems at once is not a problem, but we do want to know in advance! We try to avoid unnecessary waiting time with this. If you want a longer appointment, it may take a bit longer before you can come to the consultation hour. Urgent cases are always given priority and can come in between.

Telephone consultation

The GPs' telephone consultation hour is for short questions. You can make an appointment via the assistant between 8.00-11.00 and from 13:30 - 16:30, the GP will then call you back between 11.15-13.00.

In the practice, you will always first meet the doctor's assistants. When you contact her by phone or when you come to the counter, you can address your questions to her. She also makes the appointments for the GP. You can contact the doctors' assistants with both practical and medical questions. Sometimes she can answer your question directly, in other cases she will refer you or make an appointment for you with one of the healthcare providers. When you call, the doctor's assistants will ask why you want an appointment. This is done so that she can make an accurate assessment of the nature of the complaint and the time to be reserved at the doctor's surgery. The doctor's assistants have their professional secrecy, are thoroughly trained and regularly retrain.

If you would like an appointment for blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, ear spraying, removal of stitches, among other things, please make an appointment with the doctors‘ assistants. Smears

To have a smear test done by the doctors' assistants or the GP, you can make an appointment Monday to Friday 8am-11am and 1.30-4.30pm through your GP's practice.


Blood tests via Blood Collection AtalMedial (ground floor)

You can have blood tests done at the blood collection centre only with a referral from your GP, among other things. The blood collection is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 08:00-11:30 and on Wednesday and Friday from 08:00- 11:30 and from 13:00- 16:00.

The health centre employs several general practice nurses. These are nurses who, after additional training, take over certain tasks from the GPs, especially in the field of chronic care. The practice nurses work together with other disciplines at the health centre such as dieticians, the pharmacy, chiropodists and physiotherapists. There are daily consultations with the GPs.

What exactly do practice nurses do?

Supervising and controlling people:

  • with diabetes (diabetes mellitus)
  • with high blood pressure (hypertension)
  • with cardiovascular diseases (e.g. heart attack or cerebral haemorrhage)
  • with chronic lung diseases ( COPD)
  • who need a lung function test
  • who want to stop smoking
  • assisting elderly people in the home
  • various tests and measurements such as: vascular examination of the legs (Doppler examination)
  • who participate in the Obesity Care Pathway

In particular, the practice nurses supervise people who are not (or no longer) undergoing treatment at a specialist hospital.

The practice nurses hold surgery hours on all working days on the 4th floor. At the doctor's surgery, it is not only about physical complaints; psychological complaints can also be discussed. If necessary, the GP can refer you to the practical support person (POH-GGZ) with whom you can have a number of conversations. The aim is for you to regain control of your situation.
The practice manager has experience and knowledge of mental health complaints.

Make an appointment?

After consulting your GP, an appointment with the practice assistant will be made immediately. If you need to cancel an appointment or want to reschedule to another day, please do so through your GP's assistant.

Cost?

You do not incur any costs for consultations with the POH-GGZ. Like your visit to the GP, these are settled directly with your health insurer and do not affect your excess.

What can the Praktijkondersteuner GGZ do like this?

- Clarify a problem and see what the possible cause of it is. For example, what is going on? What factors may be perpetuating your symptoms?

Drawing up and discussing a follow-up action plan with you. Often, the POH GGZ can advise how you can get better yourself, or consult with you and the GP to engage other professional help.

Providing education. How did the complaints arise? What does theory and practice say about possible options for improvement.

The practice counsellor can help you, support you with advice, so that you are again able to chart the right course yourself. Should this not succeed due to the severity of the complaint, we will look together at what might be the reason, and what care would be better suited.

You can view your data, either through the GP or online. Online, you can view your data using your phone or computer, wherever you are. You log in to a secure website or app. You will see key information such as your diseases, your medications and results of tests.

If you have any questions about your results, you should call the practice yourself. Add the ‘’Call for an appointment’’ button, note white letters should be used.

Data exchange
